PRODUCT: AUTOMATIC VARIABLE AIR VOLUME PVC DAMPER (DP SERIES)
This is a PVC damper for fume hood ducting. This unit is suitable to vary the volume of room air exhausted while maintaining the face velocity at a set level. It allows lab users to balance airflow of their fume hood. We recommend its placement as part of the exhaust and auxiliary air ductwork.
This system automatically controls the damper position to continuously achieve a predetermined face velocity required for the fume hood. It is widely used with single fan for multiple fume hoods design, otherwise known as the manifold exhaust system. Lab users can also achieve further energy saving by adding variable speed drives (VSD) to modulate fan speed.
It comes in four size variations: 6, 8, 10, and 12 inches.
